May the Fourth be with you.
Today I will be wearing my Adidas Skywalker kicks in celebration of Star Wars Day.
Actually I had made myself a promise not to buy more shoes, mostly because I already own quite a few. But when the two most powerful brands ever (to me) got their collab on – I had no strength to resist. I had to let go and use the force – accept my inner nerd and buy the kicks.
Be bling like C-3PO and May the Fourth be with you.

Today has been one of those days …
where new perspectives on a magnitude of things has come to my awareness …
This is best described by a classic film clip from a great movie:
Thank you.

Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence.
Whatever the state I’m in, this particular piece of music always uplifts me. I love this track and I must have listened to it thousand of times. The cool thing about it is that it can hold itself in several different versions, which shows how incredibly talented the composer Mr. Ryuichi Sakamoto is. So without (much) further ado I present three beautiful versions of the same score, which was written as a soundtrack for a movie called “Mr. Christmas Mr. Lawrence” featuring Mr. David Bowie in the cast. I still haven’t seen it yet, but I have been fortunate enough to experience this particular piece of music live several times (with my dear friend Martin, who introduced me to Sakamoto’s work back in the day. Thanks man!).
No doubt – I am flat out obsessed with this song and have been so for years.
This is the original version from 1983.
The same track in an acoustic live version.
And here is the electronic version performed by the two geniuses Sakamoto and Alva Noto.
I hope that you will enjoy this piece of music as much as I do.
I suppose if they ever should make a banjo and/or kazoo version of Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence, i’ll probably love that too …

91 percent
I haven’t been much at the office these last few days, due to a project that I’m working on.
But this morning I forgot my hat at home – so I had to stop by the office to get my hairpiece. I need this because I’m attending a function later this evening. But I digress. I met Mr. Petrulli – the senior analyst in The Bistro’s research department – in the elevator and he was, as I still am, flabbergasted because of his latest study. The study points to that 91 percent of the female guests at the bistro feels “better than average” when subjected to the picture below. 23 percent of the 91 percent felt that “there is hope” and 12 percent was (momentarily) aroused sexually followed by a deep sense of shame. 38 percent of the 91 percent really loved the couch. Weird right?
