Blue Foundation
VICE/Noisey premiers Brooklyn-based electronic/dream pop duo Blue Foundation’s new video “Just a Hand”. The track is from their forthcoming album, In My Mind I Am Free, out May 22nd through Dead People’s Choice Records.
The video is an excursion through the streets of Los Angeles and New York on skateboard.
Tobias Wilner says of the video, “I asked my old friend Simon Weyhe to make a video for “Just a Hand”. He had done some stuff with Arto Saari and Rune Glifberg I really like. He asked me to fly out to L.A. to shoot a little road movie. He wanted to shoot some skateboarding and some random stuff with me and stop motion. I was pretty terrified by the idea because I hadn’t touched a skateboard in almost a year, because of a twisted ankle, but I agreed to do it. All the footage was shot in L.A. over 2 days, except for the NYC bit.”

Another day another job
I´m doing a series of 5 programs for DR with my partner in crime Mathias Nyholm Schmidt. The idea is to film 5 unique concerts with Stafan Pasborg, he is probably on the top 5 list of best drum players in Denmark… Last night we filmed a duo concert with Stefan and Carsten Dahl and it was one of those concert i would never go and see if i did´t have to film it and damn i feel lucky to have the chance to film this kind of music, it was a journey into the unknown for me at least. They have been talking about doing a duo concert for 7 years and it will probably be another 7 years before it happens again…

I did´t really know what to post or write about this week, so i found some random photo´s from a couple of the latest job´s i have been doing, it´s a mix of timelapse and music. I´m really stoked to get the chance to film all theses small concerts out at DR´s mother ship…

Locals Only is here to inspire your scene.
Locals Only is four cinematic portraits of different hubs and their related crowds in Berlin, Marseille, Barcelona, and Copenhagen. It’s about moments in time, doing things, living life, the people and the boundaries they decided to push.
It focuses on those who are willing to do things differently, who helped shape the scene by doing their own thing. Those who took chances in order to make things happen – for themselves and the rest of the city, staying true to their roots, whether they be in skateboarding, music, tuning bikes, surfing, running a bar or an infamous club night.
Shot in the style of vintage skate and street photography – and never shy to use super-8 –, Locals Only essentially captures the moments that make our days and define our lives: the passions that simply won’t fade, the notions and ideals we never want to give up.

Work in progress!!!
Lat couple of month´s has been pretty damn hectic, lot´s of cool projects and an unsafe amount of hours in front of this fucking screen.
Last weekend we did a music video for EaggerStunn and when i say we did i mean that it was a team work effort to make this happen, please see the credits of the video, for full production crew. It was a first time for me to work this way. We wanted to do a one take music video and to pull that of, we had to plan everything out down to the second. I think we did good, but there was for sure some things that we could have done better with more time on our hands, we had to make it happen on the last shot we did, people had to leave and the light was fading. But all in all i really like it and it was a really good day with good vibes and lot´s nerves…
