On the road with RJD2

Last week I had the pleasure to open up for Philadelphia based DJ and producer RJD2, four dates in a row, with our project called Dokkedal/Dixen. Wedensday we went to Uppsala, Sweden. Thursday we played in Oslo, Norway, friday Århus, Denmark and finally in Copenhagen saturday.

Being on the road like this is a funny thing. Playing every night at a different venue, getting up early in the morning, catch the next flight, check-in at a different hotel, wait for soundcheck, eat dinnner, packing gear up, packing gear down and so on, every day. I don’t know if I will ever get use to it… but I think RJ is – he started touring almost ten years ago, and in these few past days, he was still rocking the crowd, every night!!

Analogik on tour

In the last couple of days I had the pleasure to rehearse with the band Analogik at their studio way way out in the countryside at a farm in a undisclosed location somewhere in Jylland. These guys rock and it’s been a fantastic trip into the analog world of music.

We will perform several concerts all over the country in the next couple of months and I promise you, it will be crazy!! Here’s a snapshot from my point of view, Voxhall, Århus.
